From Children of Saint Mary’s to Children of Iraq

St. Mary's holds their annual Christmas Charity Concert

On Sunday, December 7, 2014, Saint Mary’s Assyrian Chaldean Catholic Church celebrated the birth of the little child born in Bethlehem, our Savior Jesus Christ in a spectacular performance at its fourth annual Christmas Charity Concert.  The standing room only concert hall filled with over 400 enthusiastic guests were treated to a mesmerizing performance by the combined Drama and Choral group of 65 members, with as young as 4 year-olds singing and chanting to everyone’s delight.

The theme of this year’s concert was “Sing for Jesus, Pray for Peace, Make a Difference, Help our Children” with the net proceeds to benefit our beloved Assyrian Chaldean and Syriac children of Iraq and their families.

May the blessings of Advent and Christmas be with all those who worked so hard to make this unforgettable evening possible, with all of our suffering people and all the children of the world.
