Around 20 young High School boys from St. Peter’s Chaldean Catholic cathedral attended the High School Boys Retreat on November 15-16, 2014. The retreat was led by newly ordained deacons, Royal Hannosh and Simon Esshaki.
They arrived at St. George Monastery on Saturday afternoon and spent the day meditating on the spiritual battle that all of us face in our daily lives. The night ended with a bonfire where stories and meditations were told and wish the boys could apply to their lives. The next day started with morning prayer from the Chaldean Liturgy, followed by a hike and more discussions on the topic.
The retreat ended at St .Peter’s Cathedral confession, evening prayer, and Holy Mass.
