Clergy of St. Peter Diocese Gather to Celebrate 11 Years of Establishment

On Monday evening, July 22, 2013, the Clergy of St. Peter Diocese gathered at the Diocesan Bishopric to enjoy an evening of prayer and one another’s company. The event took place in celebration of the 11th Anniversary of the Establishment of St. Peter Diocese. Among those present were clergy from all three Vicariates as well as the Seminarians of Mar Abba the Great, the Workers of the Vineyard, and the Daughters of Mary Immacculate Conception.

The evening began with a short prayer before the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction, followed by dinner. Msgr. Sabri Kejbo spoke of the many accomplishments the Diocese has acheived in her short 11 years of establishment. Some of the acheivements include the founding of both a Chaldean Convent of Sisters as well as the first Chaldean Seminary outside of Iraq. The dinner was a great opportunity for the clergy to spend an evening together in celebration of what they have all worked so hard for.
