First Holy Communion at St. Michael’s

On Saturday, June 8, 2013, 156 children received their First Holy Communion at St. Michael Chaldean Catholic Church. The 90 boys and 66 girls were split into two groups, with the first group receiving at 11AM and the second at 6PM. The two Masses were celebrated by His Excellency, Mar Sarhad Yawsip Jammo at 11AM and Mar Bawai Soro at 6PM.

The day of First Holy Communion is always a rewarding experience, especially for the children receiving as well as the teachers who prepare them. May God bless and keep the children who received Jesus today for the first time.
