Girl’s Vocations Retreat 2013

A small group of girls spent the weekend at St. George Monastery, as attendees of the Workers of the Vineyard’s annual Girls’ Vocation Retreat. Everyone – retreat leaders and retreatants alike – bonded over those three short days, filled with prayer, informative and inspiring talks, hikes up the surrounding mountains, and other activities. “We’ve never been on a retreat like this before” said one of those present at the monastery for the weekend, echoing others’ opinions that they got to go deeper in their faith, learn some new things, and make new, lasting friendships that they never expected to make while at the monastery.

As the girls who attended set out with newfound vigor to face their futures, the Diocese eagerly anticipates the upcoming Men’s Vocation Retreat and its fruitfulness.
