14 New Lectors Blessed in Arizona

On Pentecost Sunday, May 27, 2012, His Excellency, Mar Sarhad Yawsip Jammo blessed fourteen new lectors during the High Mass. The new lectores are to serve the four centers of the Chaldean Catholic Vicariate of Arizona. Nine men received the blessing along with five women. The parishoners were all happy to share in the marvelous celebration of the Rite of Blessing of Lectors in the Chaldean Church. Afterward, everyone came together for a gathering to celebrate the joyous occassion.
