Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

On the occasion of the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the sodality of the S.H. celebrated their anniversary with the enrollment of 8 new members who declared their promises in front of God at St. Peter Chaldean Catholic Cathedral, and in the presence of the diocesan Bishop Mar Sarhad Yawsip and Fr. Felix Shabi, the Parochial Vicar of the Cathedral. After the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, the sodality celebrated in procession the image of the S. H. of Jesus.

At the end of the ceremony, people and clergy headed to St. Peter’s hall to share the banquet of fraternity and charity.
