Silent Auction

On Thursday, April 20, 2006, the second annual St. Peter Chaldean Diocese silent auction was held at St. Peter hall. An elegant night proceeded with the presence of our beloved Bishop Mar Sarhad Jammo and a vast array of wines and cheeses. There were several items donated for the silent auction, and as a special event for this year, a live auction was held. This newly incorporated form of bidding at our church attracted many, and added a splendid touch to the evening. People roamed around the hall, chatting, enjoying light refreshments, and placing bids on a collection of wonderful items.

The money generated will be donated towards the church for new projects in mind to be accomplished. A special appreciation goes out to all those who donated items for the auction, as well as to those who participated and donated towards this joyous event. The silent auction proved to be an entertaining evening for all participants, and with its ongoing success, it is sure to be a tradition continued and expanded in years to come.
