Awards
The Community Relations Committee of the Diocesan Advisory
Council is pleased to announce the Chaldean Person of the
Year award program. The award recognizes outstanding and
talented people from our community who have outstanding
achievements in the following areas (one award per area):

1. Academic Excellence

2006 Graduate with
Master’s degree or higher. Highest GPA. |

2. Professional Excellence
|
Achievements in
Chaldean Culture: History, Social Life, literature…etc. |

3. Art
|
Talented Community
members in different areas of Art. Their work must have
had a strong impact on our community. |
|
4. Charity
|
Volunteers from our
community. Their work must have made a strong impact in
serving the needy. |
Applicants must submit a
resume and supporting documents to: Chaldean Community Person of
the year awards, 1627 Jamacha Way, El Cajon, CA, 92019 to
deliver the package to St. Peter’s Chancery Office.
Note: Community members can
nominate and submit applications on behalf of applicants.
Submission Deadline: Postmarked or delivered by Friday,
September 29, 2006.
Awards will be presented by his Excellency Mar Sarhad Yawsip
Jammo during the Annual Bishop’s dinner, October 14, 2006 at St.
Peter Hall.
