Chaldean Kidnapped Priest Released
Kaldu.org - Sep 11, 2006
Less than 2 hours
ago, kidnapped Chaldean Catholic priest, Father Saad Serop was
released in Baghdad. We still don’t know his physical condition
and whether he was harmed or not but for now we are celebrating
this miracle that surely came by the intercession of the Blessed
Mother.
Father Saad was
kidnapped August 15 right after celebrating Holy Mass of the
feast of the Assumption of the Holy Mother of God in his church
(St. Jacob of Nisibin Chaldean Catholic Church) in the Dora area
of Baghdad.
Thank you all for
your prayers for the intercession of the Queen of Heaven.
We are asked to keep
our celebration very LOW KEY for the continued safety of Father
Saad and the other priests in Iraq.
