announced during Sunday
Masses Dec. 10, 2006
that Father Andrew
Younan has been
appointed as Parochial
Vicar for the diocese by
His Excellency Bishop
Sarhad Yawsip Jammo.
Father Andrew has been
assigned to our diocese
for two years, renewable
for two more years after
that.
Father Andrew Younan is
the first American born
Chaldean priest. He was
born in Michigan in
1979, and was ordained a
priest in the summer of
2004 by His Excellency
Bishop Ibrahim Ibrahim.
We wish Father Andrew
many blessings as he
assumes his new ministry
in our diocese, bringing
renewed apostolic zeal
and playing a major role
in the spiritual revival
happening in our
diocese.
Special wishes are
extended to Father
Andrew by the team
members of the Chaldean
Media Center, welcoming
Father Andrew as the new
Director of the Media
Center.

(الأب اندرو يونان)
معاونا خورنيا في
كاتدرائية مار بطرس
الكلدانية. قرار التعيين
يتضمن بقاء الاب اندرو في
خدمة ابرشية مار بطرس
لمدة سنتين قابلتين
للتجديد.
الاب اندرو هو اول كاهن
كلداني امريكي الولادة،
من مواليد
1979،
رسم كاهنا في ولاية
ميشيغان في صيف
2004.
نتمنى له كل الموفقية في
خدمته الرعوية، وفي
المهام الموكلة اليه.
