On Friday, May 15, 2009, on
the Feast of Our Lady of the Fields, the Diocesan Congregation of
the Workers of the Vineyard welcomed two new members to their
community. Mande Betty, 21, and Madlain Arabo, 20, promised to
dedicate a year of their lives to the service of the Church in the
Diocese of St. Peter the Apostle. The two postulants made their
promises at the mass celebrated by Mar Sarhad Yawsip Jammo in honor
of Our Lady's feast. Following the mass, Mande and Madlain were
welcomed by the entire community at a small reception in the hall.
