Statement of Support

We, the Mutwa members, Advisors and the faithful of the Assyrian Catholic Apostolic Diocese (ACAD) in Turlock, Ceres & Modesto, California, wish wholeheartedly to congratulate your Grace and all the clergy and faithful of our Diocese for this historic announcement.

 

On Saturday, January 26, 2008, a joint meeting of the board of advisors and executive committee was held.  The meeting started at 4pm and was attended by:

All the individuals mentioned above, along other Mutwa member like, Hamlet Ganja, David Purto and Lilian Gabrail who were not present at the meeting but were spoken to over the phone, are giving their support to your efforts of the January 17, 2008, “Declaration of Intention” to enter communion with the Catholic Church and to unite with the Chaldean Catholic Church.  Our Lord Jesus Christ is happy today because unity brings healing to his divided Body.
