Diocesan Clergy Meeting

On April 17 and 18th 2007, the priests of all the parishes of St.
Peter Diocese (St. Peter Cathedral, St. Michael, St. Paul, Mar Auraha, St. Mary, St. Thomas and St. George) met in San
Diego to discuss matters of importance to the Diocese.Among the
points discussed were the upcoming projects of the Diocese:
The St. Hormizdah Shrine at the Monastery in
Riverside.
The Mission Parish of St. Barbara in Las Vegas.
The Mission Parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in
Sacramento.
The Educational Center at St. Peter Cathedral.
In addition to these projects, the soon to be
established Diocesan Community called the Workers of the
Vineyard was discussed, and the convent/house was visited.
Among all the other exciting movements in the Diocese that were
discussed was the expansion of the Episcopal Advisory Board,
which was expanded to include members from all over the Diocese.
The members of the Board, new and old, met with the priests
during the evening session of the 17th and discussed ideas for a
General Convention for the Diocese.
