Palm Sunday

     Beginning with a procession from the Marian Shrine outside the Cathedral, those celebrating Palm Sunday at St. Peter Chaldean Cathedral in El Cajon, CA, re-enacted the entry of our Lord into Jerusalem to complete his work of salvation. His Excellency Mar Sarhad Yawsip Jammo, Fr. Michael Bazzi, the Rector of the Cathedral, other priests, deacons, servers, and faithful people, especially children, walked together while carrying olive branches and singing hymns based on the text of the Scripture: "Hosanna in the highest! Hosanna to the Son of David!"
