On December 7, 2007, the third and final day of the priest meeting of the Catholic Diocese of St. Peter the Apostle for Chaldeans & Assyrians, Mar Sarhad Yawsip Jammo graciously recieved Mar Bawai Soro and four of his priests to join the priestly meeting to discuss concrete steps regarding the issue of Church unity. The spirit of peace and brotherhood pervaded the atmosphere as the love and fellowship of the Holy Spirit forged new friendships and strengthened old ones, and the will of the Lord Jesus Christ for his Church was discussed.
