Youth Convention

thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as had When later the disciples asked about the meaning of parable, Jesus told them; 23 The good soil represents the hearts of those who truly accept God's message and produce a huge harvest--thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted." The intention of Youth Convention is to bring together these hearts to hear the God’s word. In today’s life style where both parents (in most families) work or the language barrier exist or the cultural background is so different that communication doesn’t exist where do our Youth get the chance to hear the Gospels?
To be fair to our youngsters we need to do our best to provide them with an environment where they could get together, hear the word of God, talk about it, understand it, and take it to their hearts. We hope that this convention, with your help and support, could achieve this goal to the highest extent possible.
The Story of Fatima
The Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, appeared six times to three shepherd children ("the Three Seers") near the town of Fatima, Portugal between May 13th and October 13th 1917. Appearing to the children, the Blessed Virgin told them that She had been sent by God with a message for every man, woman and child living in our century. Coming at a time when civilization was torn by war and bloody violence, She promised that Heaven would grant peace to allthe world if Her requests for prayer, reparation and consecration were heard and obeyed. Our Lady of Fatima explained to the children that war is a punishment for sin and warned that God would further castigate the world for its disobedience to His Will by means of war, hunger and the persecution of the Church, the Holy Father and the Catholic Faithful.
The heart of Our Lady's Message to the world is contained in what
has come to be called the "Secret" which She confided to the three
child seers in July 1917. The Secret actually consists of three
parts, the first two of which have been publicly revealed. The first
part of the Secret was a horrifying vision of hell and contained an
urgent plea from Our Lady for acts of prayer and sacrifice to save
souls. The second part of the Secret specifically prophesized the
outbreak of World War II and contained the Mother of God's solemn
request for the Consecration of Russia as a condition of world
peace. It also predicted the inevitable triumph of Her Immaculate
Heart following Russia's consecration and the conversion "of that
poor nation" to the Catholic Faith.
" هوذا أبنكِ – هذه أمكَ" فيما كان يسوع يقاسي أمر الآلام وهو على الصليب، كانت عيناه تبحثان عن صديق، فلم يلق سوى أعداء هازئين ساخرين، فأمال رأسه وألقى بنظرة أرتياح الى أمه والى تلميذه الأمين يوحنا، فأراد أن يوصي بأمه خيراً، إذ ليس لها أولاد غيره يتدبرون أمرها من بعد رحيله، وليس أحب الى قلبه من تلميذه الشجاع الذي رافقه الى الجلجلة غير هياب. عندئذ والحب غمرة في عينيه، والعذوبة في صوته، أعلن وصيته الأخيرة، وعظيم حبه للأنسانية التي بذل نفسه عنها بأن منحها ممثلة بشخص تلميذه يوحنا ووالدته، أماً تواصل بعده بشفاعتها عمل الفداء، تسأل الله الرأفة بهم في أيام المحن، وتستمد لهم من لدنه النعم والخيرات، فقال لمريم مشيراً الى يوحنا: "يا إمرأة هوذا أبنكِ"، وألتفت الى يوحنا وقال :"هذه أمكَ" (يوحنا 19: 26-27). لقد أستودع أمه بشخص يوحنا جميع المؤمنين، وإرتضت مريم منذ تلك الساعة أن تتبنى الأنسانية جمعاء بشخص الرسول الحبيب، آمين.(كتاب الشهر المريمي، تأليف الأب بطرس حداد).
الشهر المريميكل يوم من شهر أياروفي تمام ساعة سابعة مساءاً، لنا صلاة الوردية وقرأة تأمل. ندعوا جميع المؤمنين لأشتراك في هذه الصلاة العزيزة على قلب أمنا عذراء مريم، المخصصة على نية سلام في عراقنا الحبيب.
ماه مبارک حضرت مریمدر ایام ماه می (May) نماز شبانه از ساعت هفت شب همه روزه در کلیسا برگزار خواهد شد. از تمامی مومنین دعوت می کنیم تا با شراکت خود در این دعا درخواست قلبی خویش را از مادر مقدس داشته باشند.
Power
of the Hail Mary Said with devotion, the Hail Mary is the enemy of the devil and puts hell’s lord to flight. The Hail Mary is the hammer which crushes Satan, the sanctification of souls, the bliss of Mary and the glory of the Trinity. It is the dew from heaven, a chaste and loving kiss, a lustrous pearl given to Mary, a sweet mixture for her to drink. Don’t be satisfied with a minimum of Hail Mary’s. Recite Our Lady’s Little Crown. Say your rosary every day. You will be happy at your death to have accepted my advice. By saying “blest are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus”, you will sow God’s blessing and you will reap heavenly blessings. “Whoever sows bountifully, will reap bountifully.” (2 Cor. 9:6)
جوانان و ایمانهنگامیکه در باره جوانان صحبت می کنیم شاید اولین چیزی که به ذهن ما می رسد موضوع شادابی, توانایی و گاهی نظرات و رفتار هاییست که کمتر با آن روبرو شده ایم... و اما چیزی که کمتر به آن توجه کرده ایم , قلب پاک و ایمان خالص جوانان است. به جرأت می توان گفت که پاکی قلب باشکوه ترین و با ارزش ترین عطیه ای است که انسا می تواند داشته باشد. شخص جوان هنوز قسمت اعظم آن پاکی دوران کودکی و بلوغ را با خود دارد. ولی از طرف دیگر هزاران فکر , صدها نقشه و دهها نگرانی گریبانگیر ذهن جونان بوده و ظاهراَ آن پاکی و خلوص ایمان را که در کودکی و در شروع نوجوانی از پدر و مادر و تعلیمات کلیسا کسب کرده , پنهان و یا نادیدنی است. اما در واقع , در عمق و جود یک جوان عطش جستجو برای زیبايی و خوشبختی و حقیقت نهفته است.و در روز بعد نیز یحیی با دو نفر از شاگردان خو ایستاده بود. ناگاه عیسی را دید که راه می رود و گفت اینک بره خدا. و چون آن دو شاگرد کلام او را شنیدند از پی عیسی روانه شدند. (یوحنا 1: 37-35).متن بالا که در فصل اول انجیل یوحنا می باشد اشاره به "دو نفر از شاگردان" می کند که به احتمال زیاد هر دو در سنین جوانی بوده اند. این دو جوان مانند سایر جوانان همدوره خود , آرزوها و نقشه هایی برای زندگی خود داشتند. شاید به فکر این بودند که به اورشلیم رفته و به تحصیل و یا فراگیری حرفه و یا فنی بپردازند , شاید می توانستند در شهر و یا دهکده خود بمانند و ازدواج کرده و تشکیل خانواده بدهند. در بین این افکار بود که به راهنمایی یحیی تعمید دهنده گوش فرا داده و به دنبال عیسی رفتند.ما پدران و مادران اولین کسانی هستیم که نه تنها با گفتگو بلکه با طرز زندگی مان به فرزندان خود , به اهمیت ایمان در زندگی اشاره می کنیم. و از طرف دیگر این کلیسا است که با تعلیمات و رازهای مقدسش به ما نیرو و ایمان و حیات می بخشد. اما جوانان عزیز ما که نور چشم و امید زندگی ما هستند, باید خود تصمیم نهایی و قاطع را برای زندگی و آینده خویش بگیرند. ای ای دختر مهربانم و ای پسر نازنینم , کلید شادی, کلید پیروزی و کلید حیات درپی عیسی رفتن و پذیرش کلام او در زندگی ماست که از راه دعا و تفکر روی سخنان او میسر است. دستهای باز او روی صلیب نشانه محبت و دعوت او از ما می باشد.

أعزائنا أبناء رعية مار بولص الكرام
سينعقد التجمع الشبابي لأبريشة مار بطرس الرسول وذلك في كنيستنا، كنيسة مار بولس الرسول في مدينة لوس أنجلس، وللفترة من 21-23/7/2006. لذا نهيب وندعوا كل عوائلنا الكرام لتشجيع أبنائهم وبناتهم للأشتراك بهذا الحدث المهم على المساهمة بالفعاليات الروحية والرياضية والأجتماعية، أو على ألأقل تقديم دعم ومعنوي ومادي للجنة المنظمة، لكي يشعروا بأهميتهم في مجتمعنا المتحضر والمتمسك بتقاليده المسيحية الشرقية العريقة، لانه هم مستقبلنا المزدهر في هذا البلد المبارك. ونشكر أهتمامكم سلفاً. |
The last
part of the Secret has not yet been made public, but was written
down by Lucy Dos Santos, the last living Fatima seer, in 1944 and
has been in the possession of the Holy See since 1957.
